Description
Overview:
You will be part of the team responsible for the supervision of the runway extension at Norman Manley Airport in Kingston (Jamaica), focusing on the runway visual aids installations (beaconing, PAPI, etc.), working on the project drafting and execution of the work.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the works on the runway, including beaconing and horizontal marking.
- Direction and management of construction works, technical approvals and project modifications.
- Approval of quality, environmental and materials plans, as well as control of the budget and possible deviations.
- Approval of monthly certifications, drafting of visit reports, monthly and specific reports, and meeting minutes.
- Review of the final project documentation (as-built).
- Coordination with the client and third parties involved in the project.
- Availability to work on a project with a duration of 4 and a half months.
Requirements:
- Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering background.
- At least 5 years of experience in airport works.
- Professional command of English.
