Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and improves QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures to support business operations under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Communicates information on the QHSE Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels
- Prepares QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the Operations team.
- Undertakes QHSE inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company.
- Develop, facilitate, and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team.
- Record and advise QHSE key performance indicators monthly and issue reports as necessary.
- Develops, implements, and encourages the behavioral-based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.
- Actively participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with management.
- Acts as the Company’s representative in all regulatory QHSE meetings, committees, and seminars.
- Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her superior.
- Understand, implement, and follow the Company’s QHSE policies.
- Report any HSE incident immediately as per HSE procedures.
Reqirements:
- Educated to a degree level with a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field
- Qualification in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control
- Previous experience in the marine boat building industry or automotive industry
- Have worked as a Production/Operations/ Quality and Safety Manager and/or Supervisor of a successful team and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success
- Have strong quality and safety management skills
- Possess strong people management skills
- ISO 9001/ISO 45001 certificate training
